Description
The Master Financial Education Volunteer (MFEV) program prepares community volunteers to support families in strengthening their financial skills. Participants receive training in key topics such as budgeting, debt reduction, identity theft prevention, and they also learn how to provide personalized money mentoring to individuals and families.
Volunteers complete 20 hours of classroom instruction and, in return , contribute 40 hours of service within the following year. Working alongside local Extension Agents, MFEVs offer one-on-one financial mentoring, assisting with financial programs and simulations for both adults and youth.
