Virginia Cooperative Extension is providing this water quality clinic for residents in and around: Gloucester County, Mathews County, and Middlesex County.

Do you have a private well or spring?  What's in your water?

Learn about your water quality through affordable, confidential testing and become empowered to make decisions about system maintenance and water treatment!  The goal of the Virginia Household Water Quality Program is to improve the water quality and health of Virginians with private water supplies, including wells, springs and cisterns.

How does it work?

1. Attend a Kickoff Meeting to pick up your sample kit. Kickoff Meetings will occur on Monday, June 3, 2024 or Tuesday, June 4, 2024.  Locations/dates/times are listed below. 
2. Collect samples on designated date and drop off at one of our available locations. Sample drop off will occur on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.  Locations/dates/times are listed below. 
3. Samples are analyzed at Virginia Tech. Results will be returned at a Results Meeting.  These meetings will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 or Tuesday, July 23, 2024.  Locations/dates/times are listed below.
