Description
This course will be accepted by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) as 2 hours of recertification credit for currently licensed CFAs and Trained Technicians.
The course contains 2 modules that include recordings that must be watched. Each module contains 2 videos that are approximately 30 minutes in length and a quiz that you must pass with a score of 7 out of 10, and pass within 4 attempts.
The basics of soil testing and soil test reports as well as PPE, SDS, handling, transporting and storing fertilizers will be detailed.
You are then responsible for submitting the certificate to VDACS. Instructions for submission are included on the course site.
Certified Fertilizer Applicator Recertification is a cooperative effort of Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS).
