Description

This short self-paced course will provide participants with the basic knowledge of safe home food preservation methods.  It will discuss the science behind the specific methods that are used for home food preservation and introduce the learner to various methods of home food preservation (canning, freezing, dehydration, fermentation) using step-by-step guidance.
