Description
Fruit growers often look to the Virginia tree fruit Extension programs to provide real life solutions to their yearly challenges. Tree fruit research and Extension has been occurring across Virginia for more than 100 years, and industry support has been vital for the continuance of Extension educational events.
Virginia Cooperative Extension is in the process of planning programs and activities for 2026: Fruit School programs are being planned for the week of February 16, eight early season meetings, and two in-orchard summer twilight meetings. Growers have recognized these educational and networking opportunities as vital components to the success of their operation.
Industry support is a key factor in providing these programs for Virginia producers. Sponsorships help cover the costs involved with these meetings (speaker fees, meals, travel, etc.; room fees; handouts; set-up expenses; snacks or meals; incidentals). We hope that you will consider being a sponsor for the 2026 growing season, and we encourage sponsors to attend these meetings and events to network with the growers.
We can accept sponsorships with credit card payments through this website. If you prefer to send a check, please make your check payable to: "Treasurer, Virginia Tech". Mail the check and Sponsorship Form to Virginia Cooperative Extension - Frederick County, 107 N. Kent St., Winchester, VA 22601.
