Description
June 9 - 13, 2025
4-H Camp is a fun and exciting week away from home. Campers stay at Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center, learning new skills, making new friends, and catching up with old buddies. 4-H Camp fosters a sense of independence and promotes important life skills.
Junior 4-H Camp is for youth who will turn nine on or before September 30, 2025. Campers are ages 8-14, depending on their birthdate. Youth who turn 14 during the calendar year may attend in either a camper or a counselor-in-training (CIT) role. CITs receive training before attending camp and are in a transition year. They still attend classes and participate in other activities as campers but also assume additional non-supervisory leadership responsibilities.
Outline
While at camp, youth attend classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and select afternoon activities as well. Campers stay in cabins of approximately eight to fourteen and can request a roommate.
Camp Cost:
$300 for campers
$250 for counselor-in-training (CIT)
