STEM FUN Teacher workday camp
Looking for something engaging for your kids on those random school days off? For the 2026–2027 Montgomery County Public School calendar, the FLSI is offering camp for children in grades K-5 on these dates:
- Sept. 21- teacher workday
- October 9- teacher workday
- Nov. 3- teacher workday
- Jan. 4- teacher workday
- Jan. 5- teacher workday
- Feb. 15- holiday- Presidents’ Day
- March 10- teacher workday
Kids will dive into a variety of STEM-centered activities in the morning and in the afternoon go to the Geosciences Museum to participate in various hands-on activities.
Location: Drop-off at a building on Virginia Tech’s Blacksburg campus (details will be provided prior to each camp day).
Time: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Food: Parents provide all snacks and lunch at Dietrich Hall (D2) is included.
Capacity: We can accommodate 10 kids per day. Once spaces are filled, registration will close.
Cost: $40 per child per day - choose one day or as many as fit your schedule.
Refund Policy: No refunds available for this program.
