Greensville - Emporia 4-H Jr Summer Camp 2026
July 20th – July 24th, 2026 at Airfield 4-H Center
for youth ages 9-13

Classes may include: Environmental Science, Archery, Riflery, Canoeing, Swimming, Sports and Games, Leather Crafts, Challenge Course, and more!

4-H Camp Overview:

4-H camping programs have a rich history of providing educational programming to thousands of youth annually through hands-on, experiential learning. 4-H camping teaches youth to make their own decisions, solve problems, and manage their resources without the help of family. Campers learn and grow from the experience of spending time with friends in a unique camp setting. They develop new friendships, spend time away from home, learn independence and gain responsibility, among many other life skills. They experience the joy of summer camp and the personal growth that comes with it. Join us this year as we make memories at 4-H Camp!

4-H Camp is for youth turning 9 before September 30, 2026, through age 13. Youth ages 14-19 serve as teen leaders and play an important role working with your camper. Adult volunteers and staff members lead programs and provide additional supervision.

*A waitlist will be created once we reach our camp capacity.

Pricing

Note: The last day to make payment in full is June 15, 2026. No late payments allowed after June 15, 2026! 

Discounts: Any family can receive a $5 discount for a second or third child that registers for camp. Use discount code MULTIMEM at checkout.

Payments

You will receive a confirmation email within 72 hours of enrollment at 4Honline.com. Do not make payment until you have received the confirmation email! Payment is required within 72 hours of receiving the confirmation email. Failure to pay within 72 hours after confirmation email you will forfeit your camp space.

To register you can pay in full or pay the non-refundable deposit of $65. Monthly payments can be made until paid in full by June 15, 2026.

Credit Card payments can be made on this website at any time until paid in full.

Cash (exact change), Check or Money Order payments can be made, Monday - Friday, 8-5 at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office at 105 Oak Street in Emporia, VA. Payments accepted until paid in full or by June 15, 2026. No credit card payments at office.

Partial Scholarships: If you are a family that needs financial assistance to attend summer camp you must apply. Partial scholarships are available for Greensville/Emporia youth ONLY! Please submit your Scholarship Application within a week of filling out your camp enrollment and paying your camp deposit. All scholarship applications must be submitted no later than May 15^th. Scholarships are need-based and are dispersed on a first-come, first serve basis until funds are depleted.

The enrollment, the non-refundable camp deposit must be paid and the scholarship application completed before scholarships are awarded. Applications are being accepted no later than May 15, 2026.

Refund Policy: Full Refund of paid amount, minus non-refundable deposit until June 15, 2026. Refunds are issued through Virginia Tech and may take up to 4-6 weeks to process. $65 registration deposit, credits and Scholarships are non-refundable.
