Do you have a well, spring or cistern? What is in your water?
Learn about your water quality through affordable, confidential testing and become empowered to make decisions about system maintenance and water treatment! The goal of the Virginia Household Water Quality Program is to improve the water quality and health of Virginians with private water supplies, including wells, springs and cisterns.
How does it work?
- Attend the Kick-off Meeting and pick up your sample kit at the Grayson County Extension Office. The Kick-off Meeting and Kit pickup will occur on Monday, June 24, 2024, 6:30pm.
- Collect samples on designated date and drop off at the Courthouse parking lot across from the Grayson County Extension Office. Sample drop off will occur on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, 7:30am – 9:30am.
- Samples are analyzed at Virginia Tech. Please attend our results meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 6:30pm to obtain your results. The results meeting will be held at the Grayson County Extension Office.
