Description
Virginia Cooperative Extension is providing this water quality clinic for residents in and around: Clarke County, Shenandoah County, and Warren County. You can participate in any county (even if it’s not your county residence), but you must be able to pick up and drop off samples to that location.
Do you have a well, spring or cistern?
Learn about your water quality through affordable, confidential testing and become empowered to make decisions about system maintenance and water treatment! The goal of the Virginia Household Water Quality Program is to improve the water quality and health of Virginians with private water supplies, including wells, springs and cisterns.
How it works:
- Pick up a sample kit at the designated location for your county.
- Participate in the live Kick-Off Session via Zoom or in-person. If you cannot attend, please plan to watch the instruction video (5 minutes) when you pick up your kit.
- Collect samples on designated date, and drop off at the designated location for your county.
- Samples are analyzed at Virginia Tech.
- Participate in a Results Meeting to help you understand your results. You will receive your confidential results at the Results Meeting.
More details, including specific schedules for each county can be found on our flyer or website.
