April 6, 2019
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Growing your own produce provides a great sense of joy and accomplishment. During this class, you will learn how to grow a garden of healthy, edible vegetables, herbs and fruits. We will discuss organic gardening strategies and methods, as well as tips for reducing food borne illnesses. A vegetable garden can reduce a family's food budget, be a source of hard-to-find vegetables and can improve the quality and freshness of produce compared to store bought options.
