VESA Annual Virtual Conference
for all Virginia Cooperative Extension Faculty
May 20, 2020 9:00am – 12:30pm
VESA Conference Updated Agenda
Welcome to the VESA 2020 Virtual Conference! Here is your opportunity to network virtually with fellow Extension Faculty with exciting featured highlights. This is an opportunity to recognize your peers in leadership positions as well as excellence in Extension programming.
VESA brings our Extension Faculty together in a unified voice, addressing concerns and issues affecting our field faculty and brings them to the attention of our State administration and University officials.
In addition to the Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP) business meeting and the VESA annual meeting, this year’s Spotlight will be on Virginia State University Extension Specialists and how they are working for you to enhance local programming.
You don’t want to miss our special ESP awards presentations showcasing excellence in Extension education across the commonwealth. ESP is the only national organization that recognizes the accomplishments of Extension Agents, Specialists, Administrators, as well as volunteers and staff from all Extension disciplines. In addition, ESP offers a number of professional development grants that may be applied for online. Membership is open to any Extension Agent or Specialist with at least three years of Extension employment.
Another timely feature will be a discussion on how Extension has addressed issues during the COVID-19 crisis.
Finally, Dr. Ed Jones and Dr. Ray McKinnie will join us with important state updates.
