Description
Come participate in the 15th year of Kids' Tech University! Kids' Tech University (KTU, https://ktu.fralinlifesci.vt.edu) is a spring program developed by the Fralin Life Sciences Institute at Virginia Tech and Virginia 4-H, that puts scientists and engineers in front of children to encourage the exploration of intriguing topics in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
This year the program will be on Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 16 and April 6, 2024. Kids and parents will watch interactive sessions presented by renowned research scientists and participate in hands-on activities led by undergraduate students and VT faculty/staff. Each day's events will center on common themes related to everyday life.
Kids will receive a t-shirt and lunch each day in the form of a $12 lunch voucher to Owen's Food Court.
