Field Days of the Past 4-H Rabbit Show and Clinic

8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Redfield Farm, 11404 Circle Drive, Amelia, VA 23002

This event includes a rabbit show for children ages 9 - 18, and a showmanship clinic for children ages 5 - 8 to exhibit their rabbit and learn about showing.  The Field Days of the Past 4-H Rabbit Show rules and regulations can be found here:  https://tinyurl.com/2023RabbitRules

Royal Contest (Junior and Senior Members):  There will be a quiz competition for junior and senior categories with a series of questions covering rabbit husbandry, diseases, anatomy, and breeds.  All questions will be from the provided reading material.  The study guide can be found here:  https://tinyurl.com/RoyalsInfo

The Field Days of the Past 4-H Rabbit Show is open to any enrolled 4-H member and non-member.  All participants must enroll in 4-H Online at http://vt.4honline.com.

Course Schedule

7:30 am     Animal Check-In Begins

8:30 am     All animals in place and vehicles out of the area

9:00 am     Judging Begins

10:30am     Cloverbud Showmanship Clinic Begins

2:00 pm     Royals Competition

3:00 pm     Awards Ceremony

4:00 pm     Clean-up Finished

Notes

Registration Deadline:  September 1, 2023.
Entry Fee:  $25/participant for the show (Junior and Senior Members).  Entry fee includes max four rabbits to be entered and entry for the Royals Contest.  Each participant and one parent will get free admission to the Field Days of the Past.  Any additional family members or attendees will need to pay admission.  Information can be found at www.fielddayofthepast.net
The Cloverbud Showmanship Clinic Entry Fee is $10/participant.  Cost includes up to two rabbits per participant as well as entry into the Field Days of the Past for each participant and one parent or guardian.

Refund Policy:  Refunds are not available for this program.
